The Himal Foundation has already distributed school material to Annapurna basic school in Kalimati, however we are now currently working on allocating funds for school furniture to accommodate more students and improve their education standards as well as potential collaboration of overseas teachers who can help improve their english level
There are currently around 50 students in this school and any ad on would help, since primary education is fundamental. On average children walk 1 hour to get to school every morning and they are eager to learn and evolve as well as keep the continuity of their own values. Any teacher or volunteer interested in assisting could benefit from staying at the Blue and Brown house nearby, believe me, it would be an eye opening experience as well as extremely rewarding since there is so much we can learn from people from these valleys...you would not only teach but learn more than you could ever imagine.
